Location :

Parito is located on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand, in the community of Ruapuke, near Raglan, an hour from Hamilton and about 2 hours from Auckland.  Karioi is the maunga (mountain) who watches over Parito and surrounding lands.  Parito, surrounded by nature, looks northward to Karioi and the bushlands encircling her and looks westward towards Tangaroa (Tasman sea) and Karewa ( Gannet Island ).
