Themed Yoga and Meditation Retreats and Workshops which can be organised for small groups

 

Parito is able to host workshops and retreats for small groups on many different themes related to yoga, meditation, yogic lifestyle and sustainable living.

  

Three day retreats can be arranged for small groups of up to five people.  For a three night (and day) retreat in shared accommodation, the contribution that can be made to the work of Parito is $400 for each person.  For less than three days, the amount is $150 per night for each person.  The amount includes the accommodation - shared (linen etc and cosy bedding provided), shared bathroom/s, all meals (organic vegetarian, early morning yoga classes, midday deep relaxation and evening meditation sessions each day, with space between meals and classes for some sessions relating to the theme of the Retreat. There is also space for each person to nurture, rest and renew themselves and enjoy the majesty of nature at Ruapuke.   Once a theme or focus for the Retreat has been decided by the group, they can make contact with Parito to receive a booking.

 to help the body learn how to slow down and begin to heal and balance itself;
• to help the body mind system learn how to maintain balance, (particularly of nervous and endocrine systems, especially the reproductive system);
• enhance quietness of body, mind and spirit;

Yoga Sankalpa Retreat

 

This Retreat provides space to connect with inner beauty, positivity and harmony through the sankalpa (resolve).  It allows opportunity to connect with one's dharma (or life purpose) through deep relaxation practice.  In this practice, the seeds of higher aspiration are planted in the quiet mind, with trust that this aspiration will be achieved.

 

Yoga and mediation practices which help focus energy towards the higher aspiration (sankalpa) will be given.

Come and experience a lifestyle that includes regular eating of nourishing food, daily morning yoga classes, midday deep relaxation and evening meditation practices. These practices help to expand the natural capacity for flexibility and strength of body, mind and spirit, inherent in all.  The practice of Karma Yoga will also be part of each day.  Learning how to cook simple vegetarian meals will be included in this Retreat.

 

 Allow the awareness that develops naturally through asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and meditation practice to expand into all actions, developing positivity and mindfulness throughout the day.

Mantra is a tool that is used in yoga for cleansing, steadying and focusing the mind/body system.  Swami Niranjanananda has given three beautiful mantra for the start of the day. This Retreat creates the opportunity to learn these mantra, then apply them in life and experience the transformation they can bring.

  

Yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and meditation practices will be given alongside the experience of mantra to harmonise and purify physical, energy, mind and wisdom aspects of nature and really make a difference in life.

  

 

Grateful Heart Retreat 

A Retreat to help reconnect to what is your true source of deepest satisfaction and contentment.  Reflect on what has been given and what we do have in this life at the present time.  Learn practices to expand the heart into appreciation of the life that we have been given.

Yoga and Meditation with Harakeke Retreat

 

This Retreat gives space to experience a life-style that can enhance well-being of body, mind and spirit through practices of yoga, meditation and raranga (weaving in the indigenous tradition).

  

Learn some techniques during this Retreat to expand connectedness with harakeke and discover your capacity to expand inner strength and flexibility by learning to work with harakeke through traditional practices of raranga given to Atmavidya by her teacher, Heeni Kerekere.  Also practice some simple, nurturing yoga and meditation practices (postures, breathing and deep relaxation).

  

 Expanding the Universal Goddess within

 

   Three days of celebration and expansion of our Divine inner strength, abundance and creativity.  A time to:

  

  • Cleanse physically with clean and simple food mainly from the garden and with yoga asanas, breathing practices and meditation daily;
